These terms govern your use of the Bone Shaker website and your purchases from us. We've tried to keep things clear and fair — if anything doesn't make sense, just ask.

About us
Bone Shaker is a natural dog grooming brand based in Sheffield, UK. Our products are handmade using natural ingredients and are designed for use on dogs.

Placing an order
When you place an order through our site, you're making an offer to buy from us. We'll confirm your order by email once it's been accepted and is being prepared. The contract between us is formed at that point.
We reserve the right to decline an order for any reason — for example, if an item is out of stock or there's been a pricing error. If that happens, we'll let you know and issue a full refund.
Pricing and payment
All prices on our site are listed in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We do our best to keep pricing accurate, but mistakes can happen. If we spot a pricing error on something you've ordered, we'll get in touch before processing it.
Payment is taken at the time of purchase through Shopify Payments. We accept major credit and debit cards.
Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within 1–3 working days. Delivery times depend on the shipping method you choose at checkout and your location.
We use Royal Mail and trusted courier services for delivery. Once your order has been dispatched, we'll send you a confirmation email with tracking information where available.
We're not responsible for delays caused by the courier or postal service, but if your order goes missing, we'll do everything we can to sort it out. See our Refund Policy for more on that.
Product information
We take care to describe our products accurately and photograph them honestly. That said, colours can look slightly different on screen, and natural ingredients can mean subtle batch-to-batch variation — that's the nature of handmade products.
Our grooming products are formulated for dogs. If you're unsure whether a product is suitable for your dog (particularly if they have skin sensitivities), we'd recommend doing a small patch test first or dropping us a message.
Your use of our website
You're welcome to browse and shop on our site, but please don't:
- Use the site for anything unlawful
- Try to interfere with how it works
- Copy, reproduce, or redistribute our content without permission
All content on the site — including text, images, design, and branding — belongs to Bone Shaker and is protected by copyright and intellectual property law.
Limitation of liability
We stand behind the quality of our products, but we can't be held liable for:
- Any adverse reaction your dog has to a product (all dogs are different — if in doubt, patch test first)
- Indirect losses arising from the use of our products or website
- Issues caused by third-party services (payment processors, couriers, etc.)
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
Returns and refunds
Our full returns and refund process is set out in our Refund Policy. In short: if something isn't right, let us know within 30 days and we'll sort it out.
Third-party links
Our site may occasionally link to other websites. We're not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites — they're out of our hands.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
