No. Bone Shaker is designed for everyday grooming and care. If your dog has an ongoing skin condition or irritation, we always recommend speaking to your vet first.

Never. Our products are cruelty-free and tested by humans (and their dogs) only.

Wet your dog’s coat, rub the bar between your hands or directly onto the coat to create a lather, then rinse thoroughly. The bar is designed to snap into squares. Simply break one off, pop it into the shampoo bag, and you’re good to go.

Most customers get around 6–10 washes per bar, depending on coat length and how muddy life gets. Keeping the bar dry between uses will help it last even longer.

This is the beauty of this bar. It stays dry so no extra mess. You just snap off the piece you need and the rest of the bar can be stored in the original packaging or in our travel tin.

Absolutely. For thicker coats, we recommend working in sections and massaging the lather right down to the skin. Our quick-rinse formula helps speed things up at bath time.
