Bone Shaker is founded by ethical beekeeper Louise Hurst in Sheffield. Every bar and balm we make starts with the same care and respect we give to our hives — because healthy bees mean powerful ingredients.

From the Hive to Your Dog's Coat
Honey soothes and nourishes. Beeswax forms a gentle, breathable barrier that protects. Propolis — the substance bees use to defend their hive — naturally calms irritation and supports healthy skin.
These aren't token ingredients on a label. They're the starting point for every bar and balm we make, rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and protective properties that promote a genuinely healthy, shiny coat.
We pair them with carefully chosen botanicals — kokum and mango butters to soften and enrich, plant-based ingredients that calm skin and help neutralise odours. Nothing synthetic. Nothing harsh. Just honest formulations that actually work.

Every grooming bar and balm is handcrafted in small batches in Sheffield, using responsible, high-quality ingredients we'd happily list in full.
